Skyway Paragliding Carabiner - Woody Valley

The Italian flight harness manufacturer introduced the Skyway carabiner to its range. Designed in collaboration with Camp specifically for paragliding, it's lighter and stronger than the one previously used on Woody Valley harnesses.

The Skyway introduces special features that make it unique among the competition, such as the slightly angled top that allows the risers to slide smoothly into the correct position, even the narrowest ones, or a stop that prevents the carabiner from inverting within the riser loop.

2) Slightly sloping top allowing even narrow bands to glide smoothly into the correct position.

3) Locking stop to prevent the carabiner from being reversed through the webbing loop. 4) Extended carabiner lifespan.

4) Production code patch and carabiner ID number.

5) Bottom built to help with proper placement of rear adjustment straps.

6) Raised support for the opening bar to prevent the ferrule from rubbing against the tape and to ensure effective opening when necessary.

The Skyway carabiner weighs 48 grams (14 grams less than the previous Camp Para Twist Lock Evolution carabiner), and according to the manufacturer, its overall strength has been increased at all critical points. "All tests conducted by the Polytechnic Institute of Turin showed greater strength during work cycles than our previous carabiner model used since 2009."
