The Windsos Drive Lite parachute is a fully steerable parachute designed in the "Rogallo" model and is especially suitable for pilots who want to be able to control and steer the parachute during descent. It is the choice of experienced pilots on long cross-country flights and competitive pilots. This system features a very fast deployment and a good glide ratio.

The low sink rate of just 3.5 m/s makes for truly smooth landings. If you don't want to pilot the parachute, the Drive Lite features a pre-braking system during deployment that largely eliminates horizontal advance, behaving like a conventional parachute. Made of lightweight fabric, it is one of the lightest "Rogallos" on the market.

Characteristics

• It is a triangular design that requires a special fold to allow quick opening.
• During homologation, they opened in less than two seconds, so they work well even at low altitudes.
• The launch system allows for a smooth descent if you don't want to release the brakes. It's recommended to retract the paraglider or release it completely or partially, but doing so doesn't impede proper performance.
• The fabric is very light “0” porosity and the lines are high-strength dyneema, ensuring long durability.
