leBipBip+ is powered by the sun using an internal lithium-ion battery.
The instrument recharges continuously thanks to its generous solar cell, even when it's off. This gives you over 100 hours of battery life without exposure to sunlight.
POWERFUL SOUND
We heard your desire for a louder, clearer beep, and the BeepBip+ has a much more powerful sound than its predecessor.
With a new speaker and a redesigned resonator chamber (front grille), the three volume levels of the beeps are perfectly and clearly audible, allowing it to be worn not only on the back of the helmet, but also on a saddle shoulder pad, instrument rack, or on the risers. It will be heard clearly even when flying with a full-face helmet.
What's more, the vario's tone response has been fine-tuned to meet any pilot's expectations, whether it's reporting weak lift or signaling strong thermals with a more measured beep.
VARIO LED
Free flight means flying free. Free from crowds and, of course, free from noise. If you select silent mode, the BeepBip+ will stop beeping and only the LED will flash, depending on the rate of climb. Oh, and the LED will flash green for climb and red for the descent alarm.
For paramotor pilots, it's a simple way to check the rate of climb despite engine noise.
LOOSE ANCESTRY DETECTOR 
leBipBip PRO has a third type of sound: the zero detector, that is, a weak ascendant.
This short-modulated sound indicates the presence of light lift (-30 cm/s to your set lift rate beep threshold; by default, +20 cm/s). These lifts aren't strong enough to turn, but they help you find the thermals in their vicinity.
In this image, the pilot of the gray wing hasn't activated his slack-lift detector, while the pilot of the green wing has. Upon reaching the slack-lift zone, the pilot will hear this sound, allowing him to search for the core of the thermal.
ADJUSTABLE SENSITIVITY AND RESPONSE SPEED
The climb speed threshold, as well as the response time, are configurable, allowing you to choose at what moment the vario will start beeping.
The sensitivity of the ascent rate can be adjusted from +10cm/s to +50cm/s, with a slow or fast response speed for each threshold (the default is set to fast).
DESCENT ALARM SETTINGS
The descent alarm (disabled by default), can be adjusted in increments of -0.5 m/s, and emits a sound to indicate to the pilot that they have entered a significant descent zone.
Settings range from -1 m/s to -3.5 m/s, and can also be disabled.
MICROLIGHT
Compact and robust, the BipBip PRO is the ideal companion for tandem flying, as well as a backup instrument for competitions and roving flights.

And because we believe in environmentally friendly products, this instrument was designed with ease of repair in mind, so we offer spare parts if needed. All components are easily replaceable and do not require extensive technical knowledge.
