MIPFly One is a flight instrument born from the combination of a love of flight and electronics. It was designed with openness and expandability in mind, as an instrument for a wide range of pilots.

MipFly One C is the next generation of our Vario line, integrating a highly requested Fanet+ module that transmits the pilot's real-time position, speed, altitude and heading to all approaching aircraft.

The Variometer's core platform runs Linux , making further development on the device easy. This feature also allows us, or anyone else who wants to contribute or modify the instrument, to easily add new features. Full-size USB ports add a wealth of hardware expansion possibilities to the device, both pre-flight and during flight, without the need for a fragile microUSB port.

The readability of the device's 4.4" display is incredible. We spared no expense on this part of the instrument. No compromise. You can hold the instrument with the sun reflecting directly into your eyes and still be able to read it. The display's refresh rate is also quite good at 20 fps, along with a wide range of working temperatures.

The device's sensor system consists of two separate submodules. One is the GPS system, which consists of a high-precision Ublox M8N receiver commonly used in drones due to its performance, along with a high-sensitivity antenna. The second submodule is the sensor fusion system of the accelerometer, gyroscope, and real-time pressure responsible for virtually instantaneous measurement —so fast it'll amaze you.
